Effective December 1, 2009 Rack-A-Tiers appointed TRJ Marketing Group as their reresentative sales agency for North Texas.

How it all got started? Two Vancouver Island electricians with a vision of a better way to do their job. The first invention, the Rack-A-Tier, a product now sold all around the world.

But that was really just the start. Over the ensuing years many more innovative products have been added (20 more just this year to our most recent catalogue) - some their own inventions, others from creative electricians everywhere.

Rack-A-Tiers Manufacturing has always been about the people. Our agents, employees, suppliers and customers have all pulled together to create something much larger than two electricians could ever have imagined.

May 15th, 2009 Ken Neill acquired TRJ Marketing from Tom Jones.

Tom Jones founded TRJ Marketing in 1986 with RK Electronics as his first line. Through his excellent stewardship, Tom built the company to a multi-line agency covering North, East and the West Texas Markets. Manufacturers represented are EGS, ABB, IBOCO, Integra, Pepperl+Fuchs, Dekoron Cable, IMS, Hamby Young and RK Electronics.

After an extensive interview process, Tom selected Ken Neill as his successor. "Ken will provide TRJ's manufacturers the enthusiasm, drive, direction and skills required to grow TRJ Marketing Group into the higher levels of growth sought by the company's manufacturers" notes Tom, who will remain with TRJ as a sales representative and advisor.

Ken has deep roots in the Electrical Construction, OEM, MRO and Utility Markets. His 25+ year sales career spans from Electrical Distribution, to Manufacturing. Ken, enthusiatic about the future, comments "this is an exciting opportunity for me to come in as an owner and capitalize on my industry experience and relationships. I look forward to working with Tom and the entire TRJ Marketing family to take the company to the next level".

Effective December 5, 2008 Schmersal and Singular Controls appointed TRJ Marketing Group as their representative sales organization for south Texas.

Schmersal is the world leader in safety components which satisfy the machine guarding requirements of OSHA, ANSI and the European Machinery Directive.

Singular Controls is dedicated to offering uncommon, unique, and/or robust components for satisfying challenging and applications-specific automation/control needs.
